On my daily visit to BBC Good Food, I came across this feature on bread recipes. It was quite an eye-opener for me - I didn't realise there were so many different breads and rolls you could make.

I like the look of the courgette and mushroom bread - it's certainly different. The cheesy garlic bread looks good too, although I generally tend to go for boring old wholemeal or crusty white sticks.

Anything there you fancy? What's the most unusual bread you've ever made?

My Mum made an unusual bread once. The loaf was the size, shape and consistency of a house brick.

She's never been good with bread. Eventually, egged on my friends who had them, she bought a breadmaker.

It blew up.

She gave up.
