That made for an interesting read looking it up! I didn't know if the fruit of the imbu tree before nor that the tubers of the tree can store up to 3,000 litres of water for the dry season.

So far all attempts beyond Victoria plum jam have failed, but I did find an interesting tomato and vanilla jam. However all vanilla jams are something and vanilla jam !
