I have a heavy-duty, super capacity top-loading washer. Is it safe to wash 2 queen size pillows in it even though the tag on the pillow says to use a front-loading washer? The 2 pillows seem to fit nicely if I place them in the washer opposite one another horizontally which could mean the load will be balanced. I would not add anything else to the load...just 2 pillows. Thanks.

I put them in the dryer on a low heat cycle and finish drying them on a drying rack or hang them to dry.
Thanks for the advice. It went very well even though I did not follow the recommendation on the tag to put a few new tennis balls in the dryer. I suppose that is either to help move the pillows around or absorb moisture...maybe both.

Move them around, keep the filling from clumping. SIL gave me a set of Dryer Buddies - 2 balls with protrusions - clothes dry much faster, do not get tangled and do not get that annoying static.
