Ingredients

125g butter, softened
¾ cup (165g) caster sugar
1 egg
½ tsp vanilla essence
1½ cups (225g) self raising flour
¾ cup (190mL) milk
375g pkt NESTLÉ Dark, Milk or White Melts
1 cup (140g) silvered almonds
Silver cachous

Instructions
  1. preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. grease 2, 12 hole patty pans.
  2. beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until light and creamy; add flour and milk and beat until just combined. spoon tablespoonfuls of mixture into prepared pans.
  3. bake 12-14 minutes or until golden; remove from pan and cool.
  4. spread rounded side of cakes with NESTLÉ melts to form the body of the hedgehog. press almonds into the chocolate for spikes and use cachous for eyes.
