sun dried tomato pasta.

I've done a little research, looks like I can just substitute grated parmesan?

It's also known as nutritional yeast and can be bought at health food stores and also a lot of groceries. And lordy don't ask me where I pulled that bit of knowledge from in my head.

From what I've read elsewhere, yes you can. The nutritional yeast is used as a vegan substitute for some cheeses.

How did it go? I've not really enjoyed nooch but I know people who sprinkle it liberally on everything from salad to popcorn and make cheese sauce for nachos.

That's right. Its also a useful ingredient to add to soups and stews - umami flavour. I have a large tub of it in the cupboard.

You need to join vegan Facebook groups Actually, I advise you you only join the ones with 'friendly' or 'new' something like that in the title as some of the groups can be militant and call non vegans 'carnists'.

I am on one FB vegan group but don't drop in there a lot. I'll heed your warning.
