Do you have a basic fridge cake that you use?

Do you call it fridge cake or tiffin?

How to you tart it up for different occasions?

My basic recipe is -
300g chocolate (milk)
100g each butter, sultanas
140g golden syrup
200g biscuit (rich tea)
85g rice crispee's

Then 100-140g of whatever I'm using to make it more "flash". Going to make a Smarties one to take into work Monday, and will make a mini eggs one Easter Week for work.
Have also used malteasers, aero and creme eggs.

I also like a liberal splash of edible glitter

Do you have a pic of the finished product?

No! I didn't get around to making it today after all! Decided to enjoy sitting in the garden and then went to the cinema to see Beauty and the Beast.

Will pop a picture up when I get around to it this week.

When we were young, we used to call it 'chocolate biscuit cake'. I call it tiffin now. Your recipe loks very similar to my mum's. I often order it with a cup of coffee at cafe stops on bike rides.
