Halogen Cooker

That pan looks like it will also fit into my toaster oven!

It's a Cuizimate. Just under US$ 4.00 here.

I bought a similar Cuizimate oven tray some time ago with a raised rack and it is good. c. US$ 7.00.

Coincidentally we are cooking those style of ribs this afternoon; but in the halogen oven (fingers crossed).

Given that the name of the dish is "blackened pork ribs", I thought it was a little red!

If I barbecue pork loin with similar marinade it ends up like this.....

I reckon the author of this has a different oven to me: "Place on the lower rack at 250°C for the first 20 minutes, then reduce the heat to 230°C and cook for 35 - 45 minutes." My potatoes were virtually done in 15 minutes at 250 degC.

Not a good image because the inside of the bowl was splashed with fat.

Maybe because I'm not using "decent sized Marris potatoes"?

This is how they ended up (with the rest of the "blackened" ribs from yesterday). Cooked at 250 degC for 20 minutes - perfect.

Cauliflower cheese - turned out well. 12 minutes at 200 degC, 5 minutes at 180 degC.
