I am thinking of making some burgers at the weekend. Does anyone have a good recipe? I am thinking that lean beef would be the best choice but I'm not sure. I'm wondering what to add and thought garlic and maybe some spices. Have any of you made burgers?

85% has a better flavor than extremely lean. Sorry no recipe as it depends on my mood.

I think this is right, You need some fat to make the burger succulent. I add garlic (minced), coriander, cumin, paprika. But as @Cinisajoy says - it depends on mood! Sometimes I add chilli.
 
You could try using lamb instead of beef. Add lots of spices. I have added chilli and minced garlic which works nicely.
 
Thank you for the help. I am going to try chilli burgers using Tesco organic beef mince which is 15% fat. I'm serving them with sour dough buns, home-made chips and a salad. That will be on Saturday.
