I'm a BIG James Bond fan.

For Sean Connery, and his successors, it was a "vodka martini-shaken not stirred".

Then Daniel Craig comes along and it's a "Vesper"... 3 parts Gordon Gin, 1 part vodka, "1/2 measure Lillet Blanc", up with a twist of lemon.

Enjoy the vodka martini, but now big "Vesper" fan.

Any other fans ?

Unsure off top of head, which film it was, but Bollinger Champagne produces: " Bollinger James Bond 007 " ..

I will go with this .. An exemplary Champagne ..

Have a lovely weekend ..

What is your favourite Bond film?

I once went through a phase of drinking long vodka Martinis - double vodka, single Martini, ice and a slice, in a pint glass and topped up with soda water. It was supposed to be a healthier alternative to drinking beer. A bit like that time I took up smoking small cigars, as healthier alternative to cigarettes. I'm better now.

Anyone remember those brilliant Martini ads from the seventies featuring Joan Collins and Leonard Rossiter?

Due to the fact that the following portrayals were done or have been done by: Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton, David Niven, Roger Moore, George Lazenby, Pierce Brosan & Daniel Craig have all portrayed the James Bond ( 007 ) leading role, and all had given or did give their extraordinarily amazing portrayals, I do not have a favorite.

I have seen all 26 films over the years and some more than once, and have read the original books of Ian Fleming, I have always been a grand enthusiast of the wide variety of Bond 007 Films and the books ..

I have seen all of Sean Connery´s films and he was like: " A bottle of Dom Pernignon: the older he got, the better he got " .. So, I guess I would say Sean however, I loved all the Bond films over the years ..

I thought he was amazingly brilliant in: The Rock, Entrapped with Catherine Zeta Jones, and a film in which he portrayed a lawyer for a young Black youth who was in-justly imprisoned for a crime he did not commit in the Deep South of the Usa .. Sean Connery was outstanding .. Off the top of my head, I cannot recall the name of the film at this momento but I believe he won an Oscar for it ..

Yes, I do remember Joan Collins not only from her adverts but also from " Dynasty " a prime time soap opera wherein she was one of the leading key ladies. She is most remembered for Playing " Alexis " !!

Have a nice wkend ..

When I worked in a pub in the 1970s, we used to have to make several different cocktails. My favourite was London Fog - Gin and Pernod, with ice.

I've never been a great James Bond fan although I did see Sean Connery on several occasions when he was at the Oasis swimming pool in Holborn (I worked in the offices above the pool). The only films I have ever been remotely interested in were ones featuring trains and motor racing (with emphasis on the trains and motor racing, not the rest of the film)
