Macadamia nuts - roasted or raw?

Hi all.
I love macadamia nuts, like most of us here.
However, I mostly buy them roasted and lightly salted.
Do you think that greatly diminishes their nutritional value?
I would appreciate some input regarding how those benefit our health (or not).
 
While in Florida, I bought some raw cashews, and didn't like them because they had no taste to them at all!! :yuck: :stop:
 
I wouldn't say it greatly diminishes it but I will say it does add to the caloric value & roasting anything diminishes nutritional value. It would help if you were the one personally roasting them. You can control temperature & time as well as how much salt or oil is used in the process. It may also end up being cheaper for you.
