I can remember trying these as a child in Norway and not being overly impressed. I think I should probably try them again now that my tastes have changed!
I will try to make them again before the end of the challenge.... hopefully. But there are quite a few things I need to make/bake at the moment so they will join the list.

Ingredients
225g butter/dairy free margarine, softened
125g brown sugar
100-125g honey
1 egg, beaten
250g plain flour
1 tsp grd coriander
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp grd cinnamon

Method
  1. Preheat the oven to 375F, 190C or Gas 5
  2. In an bowl sift the flour, coriander, baking soda, salt and cinnamon together.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl cream the butter, sugar and honey.
  4. Now add the egg with a dessertspoon of flour mix from above. Beat in the remaining flour mixture to make a soft dough.
  5. Divide dough into two and wrap each piece in cling film and chill for 30 minutes.
  6. On a well-floured surface, roll out one of the dough portions to about 1/8-inch thick and cut into desired shape with either a knife or a biscuit cutter.
  7. Repeat with the other piece of chilled dough.
  8. Transfer biscuits to an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 5 to 7 minutes (until golden).
  9. Cool on a wire rack.
