Sausage Sandwiches

Sausages and beans sandwich, @Herbie style (with a little Yorkshire Chop sauce):

So you roll them up?

I would have photographed them "rolled up" but unless you hold onto them they un-roll themselves. Trying to hold a rolled up sausage sandwich in one hand whilst operating a camera with the other is fraught with disaster,

Toasted bread. That's wrong to me - just as a bacon buttie has to be in soft bread so does sausage.

The idea originated from our "chef" in the canteen in the depot in Ellesmere Port in the 80s. I've done it ever since.

Maybe she did it to use up any "stale bread" - I don't know.

She didn't use Yorkshire Chop Sauce though.

This is one using a fresh sourdough roll (pork sausage, fried onions and ketchup).

Where did the sourdough roll come from? Are you able to buy sourdough in Thailand?

Try and keep up, MG - I've been posting images of sourdough rolls for months! Available in our local (upmarket) supermarket for 45 pence each.
