Ex-racing greyhounds are used to wearing coats of varying types, and a lot of them like being dressed up, but after the saga with the pink pig outfit Tippy prefers just to wear his indoor and outdoor fleeces. However, here are a couple of pics of two of his lady kennel mates at last year's local carnival

My dog takes up a bit more room than that Here he is on a 91" sofa. By the time three cats get up there, there is no room for me and I am banished to the armchair or the floor.

It may have snowed overnight but the sun is shining through that window and you kindly moved my bed so I can enjoy.

This was Tasha [and her toys] - she just filled up ALL the sofa - sadly she is gone now but Carla the lurcher also seems to fill up most of the available space . We have been thinking about when Carla goes we might replace her with a retired police of army dog - giving an old soldier a comfortable retirement seems fitting somehow

An excellent idea if you can find an "old soldier" for adoption. In the US the PD dog handlers are given the first option to adopt their retired dogs. Most do.

There is a steady requirement for homes in the UK - many handlers in the forces cannot adopt dogs - difficult if you might be stationed away for example. Besides the idea of a pup is not ideal for those of more 'mature' years and an older dog is more appropriate. Something we will be looking into in the future anyway

Our daft baby cat somehow managed to get on top of the aircon this morning and couldn't get down.

My wife had to climb up and retrieve her.
