I love the fact that this forum truly is international. The time differences sometimes trip me up. SOOO - I made my own little chart.

Home - Louisiana U.S. 5:30 am CST
West coast U.S. 3:30 am (- 2 hours)
Mountain time U.S. 4:30 am (- 1 hour)
East coast U.S. 6:30 am (+ 1 hour)
UK - 11:30 am (+ 6 hours)
Spain and Italy - 12:30 pm (+ 7 hours)
Egypt 1:30 pm (+ 8 hours)
Thailand - 6:30 pm (+ 13 hours)
Australia - 10:30 pm (+ 17 hours)

In a couple of hours @SatNavSaysStraightOn will be living in another year. :hyper:

Thanks to the connectivity of the internet the difference shrinks. It still kind of blows my mind. When I am sleeping @SatNavSaysStraightOn is busy going about her day.

Less than 90 minutes... As will @Frizz1974

What gets me are the daylight facing changes.
In summer in 11 he ahead. Then I drop to 10 hours for between a week and 3 weeks in autumn it spring before I'm down to 9 hours.

I use a little app that allows me to program what time I want displaying on my screen... It's a24 hr clock.

When hubby is away I'll program where he is as well because some parts of Australia are 30 minutes ahead, so you can't even rely on whole hours!

@ElizabethB

It is Eastern Standard Time in Spain, France, Italy, Holland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland etcetra .. We go to Daylight Savings Time in March / April ..
Daylight saving time in Spain will begin on Sunday, 25 March 2018 at 02:00, and ends on Sunday 28 October at 03:00 Central European Time.
That last part can't happen, as DST would still be in use.
