I'm sorry. I misunderstood. I think real silver need a lot of cleaning.
You don't have to think. Yes, true silverware requires a lot of work.
And on the misunderstanding, it's ok. American English to British English is sometimes a pain.
You Brits seem to be more precise in your meanings than us Americans.
No worries, if you misunderstand me, just say something and I will rephrase.

We sure do..! :laugh: And of course I would never use 'sure do' normally. I'd say, we 'certainly' do!
 
Be careful with the knives stored like that.
My measuring cups and spoons now fit nicely in an ice cream bucket.


I keep all of the knives' handles at the same end. That way, I don't end up touching any of the blades & getting cut. :wink:
