Recipe Vegan 'Parmesan'

It promotes all Basque products grown on its own lands and has an enormous collection of menus dating back to the 1800s, showing the evolution of the Basque Cuisines and their key players, the Basque Chefs from the 1800s to present.

That sounds fascinating. I'd love to see those menus! Have a good trip.

@morning glory,

I did not know, you could read " Basque " !

The Press Office had given me a few photographs for my Tourism Company.

I am going to post a couple in the Photo Section ..

With the data of the Museum of Gastronomy in English & Basque ..

Thanks .. We are enroute now to Vitoria Gasteiz, one of the largest cities in the región until Monday morning.

@morning glory

Ha Ha Ha ..

I am going to recommend a book to you ( comes in English ): Traditional Basque Cooking - The History and Preparation ..

Authored By: José Maria Busca Isusi ..

It is a history book on the 4 Autonomous regions of the Basque Country, and profoundly provides the history of all the products & preparations that the Basques have used since time memorial .. There are a few récipes, however, as the author stated. the Basques have turbulent waters ( The Bay of Biscay ) and an infinity of species with excellent culinary qualities and for centuries lovers of the ocean / sea, and navigation, which defined their cuisine over the years ..

You would find it very interesting and it is easy reading ..

You may be able to order it from Amazon or perhaps, you have a book shop which specialises in foreign cuisines ..

Fascinating Reading .. It literally transports one to the times that the author is communicating about ..

Have a nice weekend ..
Have to go back to work ..
