Victoria creams

hi, my mother used to make a chocolate candy called Victoria Creams. She cooked up a white creamy concoction in a heavy aluminum pan using a candy thermometer. When cooled, she formed into balls and dipped them into molten chocolate. Delicious!! Would anyone here have the recipe?
