What did you cook/eat today (March 2018)?

12 years isn't that old for an oven. Is it electric?
I think it's the digital controls for the oven. First, one function failed, then another, and it cascaded to total failure on the oven part now. Stovetop still works.

We had our St. Paddy's meal last night, corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, and carrots.

Curried sausages! Care to post your Mum's recipe as a new thread?

I pre boil sausys, then about 100gms butter and 2 sliced onions a 1 finely sliced Apple, cook until onions nearly ready, add 1 and 1/2 cups water, 1 tablespoon of curry powder,mustard powder and flour, combine everything and serve with mash spud.

Monday night's dinner was broccoli, leeks and strips of red pepper in a cheese and mustard sauce, and afters was rice pudding. They were supposed to be enough for two servings but I ate the lot - comfort food all the way.
 
I love rice pudding ,mum used to do the best. And macaroni pudding as well. I may have a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some of my raspberry coulis as well. It's real,yum.
