what is your favorite dish to make?

My favorite dish to make is a Asian style hot pot with miso, veggies, leafy greens i have on hand, all the sprout types i can acquire, and a meat or tofu. I throw it in my hot pot with some broth and then cook it up.
Once we're mostly filled up on that ill throw some udon noodles into the pot and make well "udon" or my lazy cooking approximation of it. Which my SO then proceeds to drown in hosien sauce because he like hoisen a little too much.

I have to confess I love making Indian food because of all the spices which I love combining with the simplest of ingredients and making such a wonderful tasting meal from. It never ceases to amaze me how simple Indian cookery actually is and how wonderful it tastes when made properly!
