What rice?

Have to watch my carbs....so.. It's wild rice and brown rice....white rice a BIG no-no for me....but really don't mind.

We (actually "Mrs. Dados1950") prefer brown rice with a dish that has a nice sauce 'cause it soaks up the sauce better than wild rice.

Sometimes add fine diced carrots, celery and/or onions to the wild rice for a different flavor.

Does brown rice have less carbs than white, I wonder? I like your new icon BTW!
 
I use basmati rice (usually white, but sometimes brown). I also have some (Italian) pudding rice, which apparently can also be used for risotto or paella, but I haven't tried this.
