I brought this today as it was cheap & I like cake tins, but what type of cake is it for ? is it missing anything ? Thanks

It looks like it fits in the tin behind it to make a ring cake tin.

The insert is for a bundt cake. Replace the bottom plate of the ring with the ripple cake insert.

lol that would of took me a while to work out to swap them over I was thinking it was missing a part.
Thanks & cheers for vid, Iv never heard of that type of cake before, it was only £2 so I got a bargain I guess. Think il make one Sunday x

The insert could also be for an angel food cake. I have a similar pan, but the "insert" replaces the flat part, doesn't go on top.of the flat part, as in one or the other, but not both.

It is a "springform" pan. They are often used for cheesecakes. Yours seems to have a second bottom for bundt cakes. Nice score for the price.
