Where am I?

I often ask myself that question. But I thought it might be a fun new game. Please feel free to join in if you are travelling somewhere and post mystery photos. Today I'm away for the day in ? A fantastic sunshine day. On the beach with in a T-shirt in November! Its the first time I've visited this place. I was amazed by the wide streets (there must be a reason for the wide streets). So...have a guess where I might be. I will answer if you are warm, cold or hot with guesses All photos taken today.

I would say that since all the signs and shops are in English it could be one of the following:

Southern England
The English Islands

Resembles Atlantic City, New Jersey actually from Photos -- I have never been ..


As I am aware, you once told me that you do not enjoy flying, I am assuming, it could be close to where you live ..

Could be wrong, however, the Casinos are not some place we go .. So, I do not know .. The Street, is not historically significant from photograph .. No castles, no palaces and no Basílicas or Cathedrals !!!

So, it could be any main small town beach zone where Casinos are permitted ..

Surely warmer than here .. We have more seasonal climate at moment ..

@classic33 is correct. Its Clacton on Sea. It has the largest pleasure pier in the world. I've tried to find out why the streets are so wide but can't find any info - so if anyone knows....

Easter Weekend 1964, Mods and Rockers knocked seven bells out of each other.

The church is supposed to have a tunnel linked to a cave, and used by smugglers in days of old. "Boys In Blue" are supposed to have used this idea in Little Botham(pronounced Little Bottom).
