hand mixer adapter to stand mixer

Hello I am looking for a stand mixer for making things like pizza dough. I can make the dough okay with the hand mixer until things come together and I then kneed the dough until smooth and get a bounce back when finger is pressed into it. Another Mixer.

Bought this Globe mixer used from Ebay for a real cheap price. It works very well with all 3 speeds. The only thing is, that I have to buy the accessories for it, such as the flat beater, (which I already have) wire whip, dough hook & bowl, as well as the splash guard, which I started doing...

Do you prefer a whisk or a mixer?

Are you more likely to just grab your trust whisk or do you tend to pull out the hand mixer for most mixing jobs? I've always been one to grab the whisk, until recently. I needed a new one and just couldn't remember to pick one up, so I was using the mixer more often. I did notice that many...
