• I’ve added a casual chat room to CookingBites as a place for off-topic banter, light conversation, and short-lived chit-chat that doesn’t belong in forum threads. The chat room is informal and lightly-to-not moderated, with messages being temporary, so it’s ideal for friendly back-and-forth that would otherwise derail discussions. Site rules still apply, but there’s no reporting system or expectation of post-by-post moderation - if something becomes uncomfortable, the right response is to step away. If a topic has substance or lasting value, it still belongs in the forums; everything else can head to chat.

site tips & tricks

SiteScope is agentless monitoring software focused on monitoring the availability and performance of distributed IT infrastructures, including Servers, Network devices and services, Applications and application components, operating systems and various IT enterprise components.
SiteScope was originally written by Freshwater Software in 1996, a company acquired by Mercury Interactive in 2001. Mercury Interactive was subsequently acquired by Hewlett-Packard (HP) in 2006. Version 10.10 was released in July 2009. The current version is 2018.08 (11.51). SiteScope is now marketed by OpenText after its acquisition of Micro Focus.
SiteScope tests a web page or a series of web pages using synthetic monitoring. However, it is not limited to web applications and can be used to monitor database servers (Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.), Unix servers, Microsoft Windows servers and many other types of hardware and software. It can export the collected data in real time to OpenText LoadRunner or it can be used in standalone mode.

I have purchased an add-on to enable member-to-member general banter with a 24-hour lifespan. This area is not to replace threads. It is to replace content in threads that should not be in that thread - I hope that makes sense! By default, if I have the permissions set correctly, you will...

Media Gallery Adding a Media Album(s) to a post

This is what I am referring to here. This is instead of each image separately. Why? If there are 20 or more images, you cannot add them all to the same post. So add the album instead. It links to your MG album when members click it, taking them there directly to view all of the images...
