Air Or Towel Dry?

I mostly hand dry things that don't fit in the dishwasher, or if it's full already, & I use paper towels.

What some folks on the forum refer to as tea towels are called dish towels, dish cloths, or (in my family, especially) dish rags. :)

Dish rag: the old torn piece of t-shirt that is stained and you use it to clean up nasty stuff.
Dish cloth: typically comes from Walmart and is not disgusting to look at. You use it to wash up dishes.
Dish towel: Old, frayed, but still has a lot of use in it. You dry dishes with it.
Tea towel: Fancy unfrayed and unstained towel that you use to cover baked goods when you take them to your neighbor or an event.

I usually air dry
This is not due to any hygienic standards or anything, just to lazyness
I wash things by hand; stack them on the draining board; then just leave them till the next day

If they're not already dry, a quick wipe over with a tea towel will finish the job
