The explanations that go out with alerts has a very limited number of characters permitted, so the may seem a little cryptic. It may also make sense to us as moderators, but not to members unaware of character limitations. So I thought I would start a thread with some of the common ones that we use as moderators with a slightly better explanation of what is going on.

Short versionExplanation
quoted post deleteda post that you quoted (aka replied to) has been deleted. Therefore, your post has either been deleted as no longer relevant in the tidying up, or, it has been edited to remove the section that applies to the other post that was deleted. It does not mean that your post was the problem, only that in tidying up, your post contains the quoted text that is being removed for whatever reason.
typos corrected(I get this one a lot!) hopefully self explanatory.
moved to suitable forumwe have moved your thread to a more appropriate sub-forum which usually means you put it in miscellaneous and it should have been elsewhere.
moved to suitable threadwe have moved your post to a new thread, or a different thread.

I have left the table with space for the other moderators to edit to add their 'shorthand' to this post, but please feel free to ask what something means below, if you think it is unclear.
