We just saw a trailer for Man v Food, and NT commented that you never see on that sort of show, an All-You-Can-Eat Porridge Buffet.

Interesting thought. I suppose for an 'all you can eat' to be successful, the food has to be something you'd want to keep eating. Much as I like porridge - especially with dried fruit and a little honey - I couldn't eat that much of it. And of course, it's healthy food, which would tend to put some people off eating any of it, let alone lots of it.

There is a chain of hotels here called Kyriad - last time we visited one for lunch (a few years ago now) there was a starter buffet (fill up a big plate type thing), main course, cheese buffet, and then dessert buffet. Not quite 'All You Can Eat' but pretty close
