I have an idea for a salad, appetizer, or club sandwich which has asparagus and tomato for the main ingredients. What would be the best spread or dip to unify these flavors?
Mayonnaise?
Sour cream?
Greek yoghurt?
...or something else along those lines? Maybe something with a woodsy flavor to ground it, such as a ham or mushrooms?
