Anyone else like these Vietnamese sandwiches and what are your favorites? I love the pork meatball Banh Mi we make with chili mayo, daikon-carrot slaw, sliced fresh jalapenos and cilantro. We also use the ingredients/condiments in lettuce wraps, using Bibb/Boston lettuce.
 
I think these sandwiches were popularised in America but not so much seen here in the UK. Their history is interesting. Apparently the bread traditionally contains rice flour as well as wheat flour.
