How do you cook corn on the cob? Personally, I usually boil it, but there are many other options on how to cook it. What do you think is the best way? Does cooking it a certain way taste better?
Boiling it?
Grilling it?
Roasting it?
Microwave it?

We have always grilled it, but because we no longer have a grill (in our current home) we now part boil and part 'char' it in a large non-stick pan with a lid. (though it is easier to do the 'charring' first and then par-boil/steam it by adding water to the pan and putting the lid on... it tastes wonderful.

Here in Dixieland we tend to take it out of the field and into a pot of boiling water, then put lots of butter on it. Recently I have learned that microwaving it unshucked is pretty good. I suppose if the corn isn't fresh grillng it would help compensate for the loss of sweetness.
