Every image is created by the label to sell records. The early goody goody image of the Beatles compared to the manufactured bad boy image of the Rolling Stones was a well used ploy . Jagger's secret drug was cricket, he has been a member of the MCC since his youth. It's generally a load of old bollocks used to create fan rivalry. The Oasis brother feud would not hold a candle to the violence that would erupt between genuine bad boy brothers Ray and Dave Davies. I witnessed them taking lumps out of each other at TotPs. They are one of my top ten favorite groups. In my opinion neither Blur or Oasis are in the same league as the Kinks.

Not a huge fan of either but Oasis anytime.

P.S. I can imagine this expanding into a "this or that" thread with other band options... :rolleyes:

Agreed. Another little known fact - Rod Stewart's biggest passion (apart from leggy blondes) is model railways. He takes them on tour with him.
