I posted recipes for the rice and gravy. This is how I used both for dinner.
INGREDIENTS
2 bone in pork chops. I prefer bone in pork chops over boneless pork loin chops. The fat and the bone equals lots of flavor.
EVOO
Salt
Pepper

METHOD
Prepare the Recipe - Turmeric Basmati Rice and the Recipe - Turmeric Mushroom Gravy
Pat the pork chops dry. I slit bone in pork chops to keep them from cupping.

Lightly brush with EVOO. Season with salt and pepper.
Place on a broiler pan. Set broiler to 450 degrees F. Cook on the second or third rack from the top. When I broil food I put a ball of foil at the top of the door between the door and the frame of the oven. It leaves a small gap that keeps the meat from steaming. Broil for 5 minutes. Flip the chops and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Plate the pork chop on top of Recipe - Turmeric Basmati Rice. Ladle Recipe - Turmeric Mushroom Gravy over the chop. I served it with a cold beet salad.
