Decades ago, slogan bumper stickers were very common.
One read: "Eat right, Exercise, Die Anyway"
I do not a care in general about health theories but there are disturbing
video clips on YouTube that explain how bread you buy in a store is only to make money, not to give you any nutrition.
You are literally paying for food that not only gives you nothing, it can make you sick!
It may be worth investing in some whole grain flour and a bread machine.

I've got berries I can mill and after that it's water, salt, and yeast. I do buy wheat and rye flour but oftentimes I'll just mill what I've got. No bread machine; a big glass bowl, spoon, and elbow grease.

During Covid lockdown, families started cooking together, especially the time consuming things like making bread. Here in my city there are commuity gardens. Kids have no idea whre or how food comes from...then teen girls learn about meat in college, freak out and become vegan, lol

I'm thankful to have a garden and I preserve, pressure canner, surplus. 🤠
I am glad you are able to do that. Does your local high school have a class in how to do such things? I interact all the time with young person online and am constantly amazed a the level of ignorance.....how did they even get allowed to go to college? This should be universal common sense info.

I have no idea if they do. I doubt it.
