Can we delete out own posts?

No - the reason is that other members may have replied to it and if yours was deleted then their replies would make no sense. If you want a post deleted click on 'Report' at the bottom left of the post and request it. A mod will then delete it for you if it doesn't interfere with any replies.
I’ll have to leave it to SatNavSaysStraightOn fir particulars, but I think you can delete your own posts within a certain timeframe, but once that passes, only someone on staff can do so.

No! I think you are right that there is a time frame. Sorry - I was thinking of threads.
Puggles, if you want to delete a post then click on 'delete' at the bottom left of the post.

Yeah, I have done it before myself. Not threads I started, but posts for sure. I don't remember how long it was after making the post before I deleted it.
