So I just broke my candy thermometer, yikes.
I didn't use it very often, but now that it's dead, I know I'm going to suddenly want to make candies that require it, haha.
The one I had before was a cheap one that I probably picked up at a dollar store somewhere. Does that really matter? Is there anything I should look for that would indicate a 'good' candy thermometer? Or are they all pretty much the same?
