Recipe Cheddar Cheese Ball

[The Late Night Gourmet]

This classic appetizer is easy to make and easy to customize.

Ingredients

1 cup whipped cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish (this came grated in a jar)
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 teaspoon sumac
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
1/2 cup pecans, finely ground

Directions

1. Blend all ingredients together in a bowl and roll in a ball.

2. Roll the cheese ball in the chopped pecans. When completely coated, wrap cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve with crackers.

Love it. Makes me want to put on a leisure suit and some disco music, and eat that cheeseball with some Ritz crackers. Great nostalgia food!
