I was struck by recent TV commercial here in the US pushing chicken sandwiches. One of them, Jack in The Box, had Martha Stewart pushing their ads and pulling the nose off Jack.

I researched and found that yes, there is competition for this segment of the fast food market as Chicken Sandwiches have become increasingly popular ...

That's one hell of a huge link!

I don't think we have that war here! KFC dominates the market and is really the only fast food chicken place here (correct me if I'm wrong someone). I don't think its as popular a thing here. I can see the appeal though. I watched the Martha Stewart ad...

And here I was hoping this was an entry in the cooking challenge!

I remember Jack-in-the-Box when I was a kid (living in Palo Alto). I think I just liked the idea of being able to get onion rings, tacos, and fried chicken in the same place. Is the food any good? I know that my memory of it being great is likely because I was a child at the time, and anything fried is going to be delicious.

When I go for fast food burgers, Jack in The Box and Wendy's are high on my list. But there are two others that top that list here in California and The Bay Area ... Juicy Burger and The Black Bear Diner.

And, here's mine: the Chicken Habanero Aji Amarillo Burger.
