I'm in need of some really good tested chili recipes.I need to make about 6 different types of chili, I'm hoping for lots of variety. Thank you.

So - I have to ask - why do you need to make 6 different types? Are you hosting a chilli party? That would be fun!

We probably have quite a few members' chilli recipes on the forum. Here is one I posted this year which is meatless. Coffee is often used in chilli recipes in Mexico and its inclusion will possibly be a talking point for whoever is receiving/eating these chillies.

Black Bean Chilli with Coffee

There are some chillies which don't contain beans and others that do - so you have an immediate '2 different types' - 3 if you count beans and no meat. Otherwise, one of the main differences will be in the types of chillies used and combinations. Using specialist dried chillies will often give the best results.

I'll try to find some more forum links...

Thank you. I am having a party. Every year I have a pie party in October. And this year I want to add another party. I want to have a chili party, a kick off to the school year. I plan to have a anonymous cast your vote for your favorite for all the guests who bring chili too. I want to have a least 6 different types to make sure we have a good variety.

You can have my 'student chilli' recipe if you like :D. I still make it when we are away in our van or if I'm ill and looking at the store cupboard. Basic veg (onion, mushroom, tomatoes, peppers, whatever) cans (tomatoes, tuna, beans) and whatever chilli you have (powder, sauce -any type , fresh, flakes). Not gourmet but convenient, cheap and tasty.
