Christmas Pudding Recipe

Hi All,
Trying to help my mum out, any advice people could give would be appreciated. My Mum is making her first Christmas Pudding, she has a recipe for a 1 Litre Pudding Bowl, but she only has a 750ml Pudding bowl, if she divides the mixture between 2 bowls, does she still steam for the full 5 hours or does she reduce accordingly depending on bowl size? Thanks

Steam them for the same time - to be honest the time for steaming varies so much from recipe to recipe that its not an exact science. Its almost impossible to 'over steam' the puddings though!
