• Apologies, 3 hours ago I set a rebuild of the thumbnails going in light of the changes to file sizes that were made. I had expected it to run for may be 30 minutes or so. I have no idea how long it is going to run for but we are at 135,000 thumnbails and still going. It may slow the site down a touch as it gets busier (after I go to bed). Sorry

Commercials you Love Or Hate

So now I know one!
I think maybe it might be one of those things that varies by age and country.
In my age group a man uses a bar of soap (or shower gel) for pretty much everything and wouldn’t use a moisturiser until something is so dry it’s cracked and theres no alternative!
The height of self care stops at washing, brushing their teeth and shaving if they have to 😂

But the younger generation of men here do a lot more.
My DH is 56 (I'm 62). He's always been neat and tidy, long before it was advertised and became a fad, but he doesn't moisturize. I know my daughters' fellows have skincare routines though.

When we lived in Minnesota, there was a retired NFL football player who hosted various local radio and TV shows, and that sort of thing was his stock-in-trade.

He continually intentionally mix sayings like that, coming up with things like, “Well, he’s not the brightest bulb in the drawer,” or the conflation, “Obviously not the sharpest knife on the tree,” and people loved it.

He even had one to suit you - “A few sandwiches short of a full deck,” transposed with “A few cards short of a picnic.”
Seems like someone somewhere was talking about rocket surgery...

You've got me to a T, but missed the aftershave and the deodorant. Underarm Charm is essential and a splash of Hugo Boss makes the sun brighter. :D
