Cooking grapefruit

I thought I would share this neat idea. We tried it and love it for breakfast or a snack. I took grapefruit, and cut it in half, then cut the sections loose but left them in the shell. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top, and place them on a cookie sheet underneath the broiler (bottom rack) until the brown sugar melts into the grapefruit. We eat them with toast or corn muffins. I like grapefruit, but the tartness is so off-putting. The brown sugar removes the twang of it.
