Do you enjoy cooking outside or inside?

Grills are the most pleasant experiences for me but I can't always cook and eat outside, since our weather is pretty crazy right now. Would you rather cook outside than inside?

Outside cooking is the way to go. I would cook outside everyday over inside any day. My gas grill gets its tanks worth every month for sure.

I am not a big fan of cooking outside to be honest. My garden has a lot of trees and shrubs and leaves are always landing on the food and insects are flying around. Also, I live in the UK and we are lucky to get days good enough to cook outside. I much prefer cooking indoors.

I'd love to cook outside a lot more, but unfortunately, the weather here is just too hot to do so most of the time. I'd end up feeling twice as tired and I wouldn't be able to enjoy the meal I prepared if I chose to cook outside regularly. Granted, there are still some days that we get cooler weather, and I tend to take advantage of those and grill outdoors when this season comes around. The best thing about cooking outside is you can make a mess without it being too noticeable.

I actually prefer cooking inside than outside. It is more convenient and easy for me since no need to set up before cooking. Although I also enjoy cooking outside but that is if not too often.

Outside! Our oven is not insulated so it heats up the house to an unbearable level. If it can be cooked on the BBQ, it is. I'm lucky because we have a fully screened in patio so nothing bothers me while I cook the food on the grill.

I preferred cooking inside the house rather than doing it outside. For me it is convenient if it is done inside because the kitchen utensils and appliances are all there. And one thing as much as possible we try to avoid grilling outside and always considers how foods cooked using charcoal affects our health.

Depending on the weather actually. If the weather is bad, then I would rather cook inside as it would be easier. But generally, I prefer to cook outside especially when grilling.

For the most part I love the grill best. However there are things that I can't make on the grill so I head inside. I need a wok with a grill attached to it.

I love cooking and eating outside. It's just refreshing and relaxing. Of course I do like planning a big meal for relatives and having everyone sit down at the table, but I love summer because everyone can gather outside to eat. Keeps the house cleaner, too.

I have never tried cooking outside. I really want to, though! Roasting sausages! Flipping burgers! Painting barbecue sauce! Smoking meats in fragrant woods! Bamboo skewers and bread buns. Sun by a pool and a cool beer... It all sounds very enjoyable.

you missed out the being eaten alive by insects, the burnt of the outside still raw on the inside food and the smoked like a kipper look & smell that everyone takes on! :D

Haha! Well, of course I would, because I've never actually done it so I'm naively idealizing the experience. :D
Thanks for warning me! I also figured that a lot of the enjoyability would depend on the weather. Cooking under a shelter during the rain, would be different than slaving over a hot grill and under a scorching sun, and even a pleasant breeze could bring its own problems (like where the smoke goes).

I enjoy both, but I rarely get the opportunity to cook outside, or indeed enjoy anyone else's outdoor culinary efforts. The sad fact is that in the UK, our weather is so unpredictable that it's almost impossible to plan a bbq ahead of time, because the sun can be shining one day and the next we are in the midst of torrential downpours and gale force winds!

I use to enjoy cooking outdoors when I was big on eating meat. Now I don't eat meat so I don't see the point of it. I know I can cook veggie burgers on the grill, but I rather just cook then inside at a more normal temperature. Nothing I cook has to be over 500 degrees for me to enjoy.
