Do you freeze corn?

I raise sweet corn in my garden each year. We eat on it throughout the season, but always have a lot left over. My mother taught me how to freeze my excess corn. I have been freezing my corn ever since and it works great!
I husk the corn, blanch it, cut the corn off the cob, bag it, label it, and freeze it! It is very simple and easy to do! It is a great way to have fresh garden corn all year round! I love having it readily available in my freezer!

you can microwave the corn unpeeled to blanch it. If you get it right you can remove the kernels without cutting them off, otherwise cut them off. Vacuum seal for the best keeping quality.
