I am just getting started with indoor herb growing and looking for some tips. So far I have had success with parsley and cilantro. The plants don't seem to last that long before they go to seed and have to be restarted, but I guess that is just how those plants are.

What herbs do you grow inside? If I were to add 2 more, what would you say would be the easiest to grow successfully?

I would suggest you try growing basil. It's very easy and require little maintenance. :) You can also try growing rosemary. :)

You can choose two of these. Lemongrass, chives, mint, coriander, oregano, thyme and basil can all do well indoors. It's best to buy plants that have not already been growing outdoors as the shock of the new environment might cause them trauma and impede their growth. It's also best to keep them in separate containers and use the correct soil.
