Recipe Easter trifle with Balconi Torta.

Ciao a tutti,

I usual make this at Easter time my family love. Balconi products easy find now, I use Viennese Torta but any similar is good. Is quick an easy made.
You need -

  • 8 tbsp amaretto.
  • 3 packet Balconi Viennese Torta.
  • 2 can apricot chopped and juice reserved.
  • 2 Fresh oranges in segment.
  • 1 can black cherry discard juice.
  • 1 litre fresh custard.
  • 500 ml double cream
  • 2 tbsp toasted flaked almonds.
Method - Start put layer of Balconi Torta slices inside bottom of large square trifle dish.
  1. Mix ½ the amaretto with 6 tbsp of reserved juice an put over Torta so it soak in.
  2. Put layer fruit on top of Torta then pour layer custard.
  3. Repeat with second layer same amaretto.
  4. Mix remain amaretto in cream an whisk until is firm.
  5. Smooth cream over an sprinkle almonds.
  6. Put inside fridge for 1 hour.
