I've never had chip shop curry sauce so I can't comment. Do you have the full recipe?
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon curry powder store bought
2 tablespoons flour
20 oz water
1 tablespoon tomato paste
Cook first three item. Then add c powder flour and water with pepper and l juice simmer for twenty mins then whizz to smooth.
Just like you can get with chips here
