Got Lots of Extra Catnip? Make it into Jelly for your Cats!

Did you know that most cats LOVE jelly? All of my cats do, anyway...

I use a generic 'mint jelly' recipe and replace the jelly with a large handful of catnip.

What a treat for them! Your cats will meow for more. I usually give them a teaspoonful at a time, letting them lick it off of a spoon.

Expect lots of purrrrrrrrs!

Such a good idea. My cats love their catnip and I did buy a big bag of it. I don't want it to get dry and old. I plan to try this out soon. Thanks for the tip!

Wonderful idea! I've grown nip for years and had never considered it in a jelly. Hopefully they will let me do it with out trying to crawl up on the counter and into the bowl.
