Ingredients
- Cupful (8 oz) of carrots
- Cupful (8 oz) of onions
- Cupful (8 oz) of turnip
- Cupful (8 oz) of cooked barley
- 8 ½ cups of vegetable stock
- A few sprigs of fresh thyme
- ½ glass of Guinness Draught

Directions
Ready?
All the ingredients go into a pot, and you let it simmer for 20 minutes.

Serves 4 to 6
