Anything happening this year? A few houses around us are trimmed up ready and look really good.

Lots of decorations when out driving around - those giant skeletons, witches, etc are more and more popular every year. I have no idea how much they cost, but they’re as tall as our house!

I saw this online and it gave me a chuckle:

Everyone's confused over here.
I went to a Shopping Centre for breakfast today, and the café was adorned with skeletons, ghosts, pumpkins, etc.
Right next door was a huge golden Xmas tree.
No, that’s how it should be!

We stopped by three shops yesterday and it was the same, Christmas right alongside Halloween. MrsT was admiring the Halloween Crunch cereal…alongside the Christmas Crunch cereal (both Cap’n Crunch cereals)!

Some people multitask…we multi’brate! 😆

I have a few 'munchkin' pumpkins arranged on the mantlepiece. That's about it... but I can probably eat them later on.

Zero interest here but grandkids may be doing " stuff"
Not many kids around us.
New next door neighbors. No kids but they have about 40 pigeons.
Never heard of asians keeping pidgeons???

We have lived in this house in the country for more than 30 years and we have never had a trick or treat come to the door. The candy manufacturers don't make a fortune from us.

It has become a bit of an unwritten rule around here that if a house isn't decorated then don't knock at the door, should imagine it is the same elsewhere.

Here (and anywhere else I’ve lived in the US), the rule is, if the outside light isn’t on, then that house isn’t participating.

We're in a rural area and some years we have loads of kids come `round "trick or treating" so I always have a goodly amount of assorted "fun sized" candies as well as a cooler full of those mini bottled waters for the kiddos.
That's thirsty work ya know!
As to my décor I keep it simple, both inside and out.
