We can start collecting Social Security (govt pension) as early as 62 and as late as 70, I think. We get more each month the longer we put off collecting.

I don't know the top end for age because there's no way in hell or anywhere else I'm working until I'm 70. I'm more interested in the low end.

I pretty much retired 61/62 so I collect mine in February next year. I've never been on any benefit my whole life so I'm looking forward to getting something back. I think it's something like $750 fortnight?
